The Southport and Formby 7 Day GP Service is now offering enhanced hours and even more opportunity for you to access routine appointments.

The service has increased its opening hours to offer appointments 9am-5pm on Saturday, as well as the usual hours of 5pm-9pm Monday to Friday and 9am-1pm on Sunday.

Based at the Family Surgery on Liverpool Road in Birkdale, the 7 Day GP Service is available to anyone who is registered with a GP in the Southport and Formby area.

Appointments that can be booked with the service include GP consultations, Advanced Nurse Practitioner consultations, health checks, blood tests, ECGs, ear syringing, cervical screening, and physiotherapy appointments.

To book an appointment, all you need to do is contact your regular GP reception team and ask for an appointment with the 7 Day GP Service.

The 7 Day GP Service, which recently turned four, has received fantastic feedback from patients. In fact, 94% of people who have used the service said they would recommend it to their friends and family.
